The property itself was fantastic with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and it was situated right next to a beautiful forest reserve on Signal Mountain. The hospitality and service exceeded my expectations, with the owners providing helpful suggestions and even a personal welcome note and complimentary glass of wine. I highly recommend Devonport House for its exceptional amenities and wonderful experience.

As a tourist, I absolutely loved the homy feeling of the place. The hosts went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special by adding chocolates, roses, and champagne to our room. The location was also perfect, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere while still being close to the V&A Waterfront, downtown core, and Table Mountain. The view of Table Mountain from our room was breathtaking, and the protected green space backing onto the yard provided extra privacy. The attention to detail in the room, including the welcome note, bottle of wine, and great coffee, made us feel right at home. Jacques and Lynne were excellent hosts, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, pancakes, cold cuts. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends, and I would love to visit again myself.
